- District: Göktürk is in Istanbul’s Eyüpsultan district, on the European side.
- Surroundings: South of the Belgrad Forest, next to Kemerburgaz. Zekeriyaköy is on the north-east side of the forest, in the Sarıyer district.
- Metro: The Göktürk and Kemerburgaz stations of the M11 Gayrettepe–Istanbul Airport line are in the area.
- Lifestyle: Forest surroundings, gated complexes with gardens and villa neighbourhoods; popular with families who want a quieter life than in the city centre.
